The Chancellor Rishi Sunak has now announced the GREEN HOMES GRANT VOUCHER SCHEME
The funding has been set aside to help homeowners make their homes more energy efficient and is due to start in September 2020
The measures available are split into Primary and Secondary and households will need to install at least one of the primary measures to qualify for funding.
INSULATION Cavity Wall Insulation, Loft Insulation, Solid Wall Insulation, Under-Floor, Flat Roof, Room in Roof, Park Home
LOW CARBON HEAT Air Source Heat Pump, Ground Source Heat Pump, Solar Thermal.
Draught Proofing, Windows and Doors, Double / Triple Glazing where replacing single glazing, secondary glazing in addition to single glazing, upgrading to energy efficient doors replacing doors installed before 2002.
Heating Controls appliance thermostats, hot water tank thermostats, hot water tank insulation, smart heating controls, zone controls, delayed start thermostats and thermostatic radiator valves.
The Government will pay at least two-thirds of the cost of installing any of these measures up to £5000
Low income households will be eligible for a grant of up to £10000 with all the installation costs being funded.
